Past participle
- What did you do on holiday?
- We arrived on Saturday and went straight from the airport to the hotel. I was late so we went straight to bed. I slept well and woke late on Sunday.
- What did you do on Sunday?
- Relaxed. We didn't do any activities on Monday.
- What did you do on Monday?
- We sailed a boat out to sea and fished for sharks.
- What about Tuesday?
- We played water polo.
- And on Wednesday?
- On Wednesday we climbed a mountain. Then we stayed there overnight and walked back down in the morning.
- I expect you were tired then.
- Yes. On Friday we sunbathed on the beach and then on Saturday we packed and came home. It went so quickly but we had fun.
