We went to the zoo
- We went to the zoo today.
- Which animals did you see?
- There elephants and giraffes in a field together. They were enormous.
- Did you see any big cats?
- We saw lions. The had just eaten so they were all just lying down. There are tigers there too but we couldn't see them.
- That's a shame.
- We did see the monkeys though. They were jumping and playing and having a great time. They were my favourite.
- I like monkeys too, but my favourite is always the pandas. I love watching them.
- We didn't see the pandas. Their enclosure was right at the far end of the zoo and we didn't want to walk that far.
