- Hello. I'd like to report the loss of my passport, please.
- I can help you with that. What's your name?
- Sonia Brown.
- And your date of birth?
- First of August 1995
- When did you last have it?
- This morning. I used it as ID to hire a car.
- Have you spoken to the car rental company?
- Yes. I didn't leave it there.
- Where did you go after hiring the car?
- To the bowling alley and then to the zoo.
- When did you notice your passport was lost?
- When I got home. I was going to put it in the safe but when I opened my bag the passport wasn't there.
- Have you called the bowling alley or the zoo?
- No, they're both closed now.
- Ok, let me see if it's been handed in.
A short while later
- Good news. Here's your passport. It was left at the zoo and was handed into us.
- Thank you.
