It’s so hot. And it’s not even midday yet.

I know. It will only get hotter this afternoon.

We’ll need to make sure we drink plenty of water and stay
in the shade.

And we won’t be able to take the dog for a walk. She
doesn’t like hot weather.

She’ll probably just lie in the shade too.

I’m going to go to the shop to buy some ice cream and ice
lollies.

That’s a great idea. They’ll be refreshing later during the
hottest part of the day.

I’m back. I’ve got ice cream and lollies.

What flavors did you buy?

I bought vanilla ice cream, and three different flavored
lollies; orange, strawberry, and lemon.

You’d better put them in the freezer, so they don’t melt.
