-          What time is it?

-          It’s quarter past five

-          Then we’re late. We’re supposed to be at Jim’s house by five o’clock

-          We should hurry then. Quick let’s run.

At Jim’s house

-          Hi Jim. Sorry, we’re late.

-          You’re not late. You’re early. I told you to be here at six o’clock.

Later

-          Where is the taxi? It should have been here at half-past six.

-          What time is it now?

-          It’s quarter to seven.

-          Maybe there’s a delay

-          If it doesn’t come soon, we’re going to be late for the show.

-          Don’t worry it’s here now.

-          Great. Let’s go.
